Arrival and Departure

The Tyrolean high plateau is accessible from three directions and can be reached by train, car, or airplane (via Innsbruck). Tip: Did you know that Seefeld has the highest-located ICE train station? On the day of arrival, your room will be prepared for check-in for you and your loved ones from 4 p.m. With prior notice and for a small additional fee, you can indulge in the breakfast buffet on the day of arrival.

If you are arriving by plane, the nearest airport is in Innsbruck. We are happy to arrange a transfer from the airport to the hotel for a fee.

Public transportation connections are available through multiple routes. Our reception is available to assist with questions and information. If you arrive by train, we may organise a pick-up service from Seefeld train station to our hotel and return (for a fee).

Of course, arriving by car is also an option, and we offer free parking spaces around the hotel or can reserve a spot in our underground garage for 15 euros per day. Additionally, we provide e-charging stations for your eco-friendly arrival with an electric vehicle. Please note that in Austria, there is a mandatory winter tire requirement from November 1st to April 15th in wintry road conditions.

Upon departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11 a.m. (Check-out). Subject to availability and for a small fee, we can offer you a late check-out. Simply inquire at the reception. The spa area with lockable lockers - subject to availability - can be booked on the day of arrival before 4 p.m. (Early Spa-In €20 per person) and on the day of departure, including the afternoon buffet until 5 p.m. (Late Spa-Out €25 per person).

Stay at Hotel Kristall

Welcome to Hotel Kristall! Everything begins with our delicious welcome drink. We'll accompany you to your room and ensure the first comfort factor in your home for the days to come. In your accommodation, you'll find a backpack that you can use free of charge during your stay. You can purchase this backpack at the reception. To ensure your safety, we've equipped each room with a safe. You can set the code for it directly on the safe. If you should happen to lose something, please notify the reception immediately.

Our reception is available daily from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. for any questions and requests. With your room key, there are permanently open entrances to the hotel: side lobby entrance, garage entrance, both entrances to the ski cellar.

We've created a space for you to relax, so your well-being is particularly important to us. Accordingly, our dress code ranges from sporty to elegant. For dinner in the restaurant and at the hotel bar, we kindly request long pants. Please refrain from wearing flip-flops, hats, and sleeveless shirts.

We are pleased to offer a variety of services upon request at the reception: document scanning, photocopying, wake-up service, postal service, sewing service, luggage service, arranging hairdressing appointments. Also, at the reception, you'll receive our guest card/Plateaucard, allowing you to benefit from discounts and free rides on the bus lines.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire hotel. We kindly ask you not to smoke anywhere in the hotel (including electronic cigarettes) except on the terrace.

If you wish to remain undisturbed in your room or prefer it not to be cleaned yet, please hang the designated sign on the exterior door.

What are the attractions around Hotel Kristall?

Leutasch is located at an altitude of 1,130 meters, stretches for 16 kilometers, and has approximately 2,400 residents. Our municipality is part of the "Tirols Hochplateau" region. Around Hotel Kristall in Leutasch, there are several potential attractions. The Tyrolean high plateau is divided into five different regions - Leutasch, Seefeld, Mösern, Reith, and Scharnitz. The neighboring town of Seefeld offers a bustling pedestrian zone and the train station, making it an ideal starting point for shopping pleasures. You can get the necessary information and brochures at our hotel reception.

What transportation options are available?

There are several different options here as well. The roads are ideal for cars or bicycles. Otherwise, our reception can gladly arrange a taxi for you.

Traveling on public transportation is possible using the guest card/Plateaucard for all bus lines in the Seefeld region. Train journeys depart from Seefeld station towards Innsbruck or via Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Munich. Our reception is also available to assist with this. If you arrive by train, we'll pick you up from Seefeld station between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and return you there (for a fee and subject to availability).

What gas stations are in the area?

There are two gas stations in Leutasch. One is located in Weidach, and the other in Kirchplatzl. For information about electric charging stations, we recommend a quick Google search, depending on your location.

How else can the reception assist me?

Our reception is available for all inquiries. If you need a last-minute gift, we are happy to organize flowers upon request. However, we kindly ask for advance notice at our reception, especially for weekend orders.

Tyrolean Cuisine and Delights at Hotel Kristall

At Hotel Kristall, a table is reserved for you in the restaurant for the entire duration of your stay (for breakfast and dinner). You have free choice of seating in the afternoon.

Meal times are as follows:
Breakfast: 08:00 - 10:30 a.m.
Afternoon buffet: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Dinner: 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

We take care to accommodate your allergies, intolerances, or any other dietary preferences such as vegetarian meals - please inform us in advance! However, we kindly advise that we are unable to prepare strictly vegan dishes and request your understanding.

To avoid any booking errors or confusion, we kindly ask you to check your beverage receipts every morning in the restaurant. Regrettably, any later claims or complaints cannot be considered.

Beverages and more

Firstly, we'd like to emphasize that our tap water is high-quality spring water and can be consumed without any concerns.

Coffee and tea are included during breakfast and the afternoon buffet (self-service). Any beverages ordered directly from the service staff will be charged. The beverage vending machine in Level -2 in the billiards room is available to you 24 hours a day.

In our traditional rooms, you'll find a small refrigerator serving as a minibar. We are happy to provide these in our rooms and suites upon request. If desired, we can also stock your minibar individually after you've filled out the minibar slip (located in the information folder) and handed it in at the reception.

For all types of beverages, our hotel bar is open daily from 2 p.m. Our bar team can be reached at extension -67.

For Your Comfort

Our room service is available daily between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. and can be reached at extension -66. Please understand that we require some preparation time. The beverage room service is complimentary for our guests. However, for room service (breakfast and dinner), we kindly request a fee of 20 euros.

Laundry received before 9:00 a.m. will be returned to you on the same evening. A laundry bag with a laundry list is available in your room. Please note that dry cleaning is only available off-site and therefore takes more time (4 working days). If you wish to have your bed linen changed daily, please contact the reception. We are pleased to offer an additional evening room service upon request. This service includes refreshing towels, making the bed again, and emptying the wastebaskets. For the turndown service, please contact the reception.

We can provide an ironing board and iron in your room and/or iron your laundry for a fee. Please contact our reception for this service.

For any other needs such as extra blankets, hypoallergenic bedding, additional or alternative pillows, or required toiletries, we are happy to provide them after contacting the reception.

Water areas of the adult hotel

At the brand-new Adults-only Hotel Kristall, equipped with a two-level wellness area, you'll find two water areas.

  • On the rooftop terrace, you'll discover the year-round heated Rooftop Infinity Pool (maintained at 32 degrees Celsius), inviting you to marvel, dream, relax, and, most importantly, capture stunning moments. Please remember to bring your swimwear for this area.
     
  • In contrast to our Infinity Pool, the year-round heated Indoor Pool located in the basement (maintained at 30 degrees Celsius) is a clothing-optional zone. With its stylish design in an elegant ambiance, it invites guests to swim and linger without the requirement of swimwear. Feel free to leave your bathing attire in your bag in this area.

Combining movement and nature - it's ideal for relaxation through unforgettable hikes and walks in Leutasch and the surrounding area. In order to contribute to our beautiful environment, we have established a clear guideline: Every day, unnecessary tons of towels are washed in hotels worldwide, burdening our water with immense amounts of detergent. Please decide for yourself: Towels on the floor mean 'Please exchange'. Towels placed back on the holder mean 'I'll use them again!'

Stay of Children and Dogs

We, at Hotel Kristall, consciously position ourselves as an Adults Only hotel - a place of tranquility and relaxation for adults. The hotel does not have facilities for children; therefore, we only offer stays starting at a minimum age of 14 years old.

Dogs are generally allowed in our hotel, particularly in our dog-friendly rooms, for a fee of 15 euros per night. During your stay in the room, we kindly ask you to provide a dog bed or blanket for your pet. Please understand that dogs are not allowed in the spa area and restaurant. For any further inquiries, our reception is at your disposal.

How do I act in a medical emergency?

In case of accidents or the need for medical assistance, please call the reception. Dial - 66. Please pay attention to the instructions on your room door and in the corridors.

How should I behave in case of a fire?

In the event of a fire, the automatic fire alarm system in the building will inform you in case of an emergency. Information regarding escape routes can be found in your room. Fire extinguishers are located on each floor in the hallways and stairwells. Please pay attention to the instructions on your room door and in the corridors.

Is the Hotel Kristall wheelchair accessible?

Access to the hotel, rooms, hotel lobby, and restaurant is possible without barriers.

Our rooms and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible, but there are no specific facilities or supports in the bathrooms. Additionally, both spa areas (lower ground and rooftop) are not accessible for those with mobility impairments (stairs). Please feel free to speak with us if you have specific needs or requirements.
