Our cuisine is like the Hotel Kristall itself: multi-faceted, clear and full of character.
Here, Tyrolean down-to-earthness meets delightful creativity, regional freshness meets honest craftsmanship. Every dish tells a story - about the mountain pastures, the gardens, the people behind them.
Tenderly cooked meat, freshly caught fish, fine aromas. And then that moment when a hand-rolled apricot dumpling melts in your mouth. Or the apple strudel smells as warm as childhood. It's not food - it's a feeling. A spark of happiness. A bite of the real thing. And a delight that lingers for a long time.

Our cuisine is a commitment: to Tyrol, to honesty and to genuine taste. Every dish has a piece of home in it - cleverly interpreted, but deeply rooted. Head chef Bernhard Pfeffel and his team cook with heart, mind and dedication. Always seasonal. Always regional. Always with that certain something.

Our ¾ feel-good board
- Freshness, variety, regional products and personal service!
- Rich breakfast buffet from 8:00 to 10:30 with front cooking, freshly squeezed orange juice and vegetable juice bar.
- Afternoon buffet from 14:00 to 16:00 with homemade sweet delicacies, a savory snack and coffee & tea.
- 5x 5-course menu per week with a choice of main course - meat, fish, vegetarian.
(Lactose and food intolerances on request. We do not offer vegan dishes in our evening menus). - 2x 6-course gourmet menu per week

Authentic cuisine
From early in the morning until late at night, our ¾ feel-good board accompanies you with culinary delights - diverse, honest and always with a touch of Tyrol.
The morning starts with a breakfast that tastes like a promise: Vitality corner, freshly squeezed juices, homemade desserts - and the prospect of a day full of flavor.
In the afternoon, the buffet awaits with delicious snacks, fragrant coffee and sweet temptations.
In the evening, we serve new #enjoyment moments every day: from Tyrolean classics to Mediterranean refinements and a festive gala menu.


And for the finale?
Homemade schnapps with character - cranberry, herbs, pine cones. On the terrace. At the bar. To crown a glamorous day.

Homemade schnapps & fine wines with a family history.
Some stories are just too good not to celebrate with a glass of schnapps. Our herbal schnapps recipe, for example - handed down by the grandmother of the grandmother of the grandmother. Who exactly was it? Nobody knows anymore. What we do know: The taste is legendary!
Our walnut schnapps is also a hit - no wonder, after all, the nuts come straight from our grandmother's garden in Styria. Cranberry schnapps? Homemade too, of course. And then there's our pine cone schnapps - fresh from spring, resinous and honest. A guest once said it tasted "like a tree to drink". And yes, that's pretty accurate.
For all those who prefer to reach for a glass instead of a snifter: Our uncle supplies us with excellent wines from the Pfeffel winery in the Wachau - from Grüner Veltliner to Blauer Zweigelt. Cheers!
